Last week I mentioned to several colleagues that David Hiller, Publisher of the Los Angeles Times, would be singing the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium, which brought on comments that I was kidding. Well Tony Pierce recorded the event, and I have to admit David sings rather well for a publisher. So I will now give David Hiller the name, The Singing Publisher.

He did not deserve to sing in our city. He should sing at Wrigley and include him in the sale.
